PAYROLL Implementation
Oracle Payroll integrates seamlessly with the company's Human Resources Management family of applications.
Oracle Payroll provides many perks, including a complete history of payroll results, payroll reports based on employees' language and currency.
The rules-based management system lets users manage diverse payroll requirements, as well as quickly process payrolls based on the frequency stipulated by an organization.
Payroll Process Flow
employee time collected is transferred to paymix,which is a entry point for earnings related payroll processing
Once the data has been validated it is transferred to the individual employee assignment record for a given payroll period
Vertex is an integrated third party s/w that provides oracle with necessary tax information
Run the payroll process from the concurrent manager . Necessary parameters are passed like Payroll name, Payroll period end date, pay date, run type Regular
Once Payroll Process is completed you can run Payroll Register, Payment register, Gross to net summary reports. Once you are satisfied with payroll results, run the pre payments process in order to get ready for direct deposit & checks
Run the NACHA & check writer processes to produce direct deposit & paychecks
Last step is to run costing & transfer financial data to General ledger
